AAAS Project on Science, Technology and Disability

As part of its multi-day annual meeting in Boston, American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) will host a luncheon for middle and high school students, parents, teachers, counselors, etc. to provide an opportunity to students to explore careers in the the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) on FRIDAY, FEB 15. Please look at the invitation below and RSVP to the event.

Chess Studio on the Hill

 

Chess Corps. started a new chess/brain training program called "Chess Studio on the Hill" at Newton Center. Free trials are available the club in Boston and Newton. Come to play with the Chess International Master (Satea Husari) and win a free ice cream if you keep your queen for five minutes. Children Helping Children

 

62 young artists gave a charity music show at Boston Children Hospital in Quincy, MA on Dec. 4, 2006, through the Children Helping Children (CHC) network. The pediatric patients loved this 3-hour long concert and dance program and raised money for Quincy Hospital. http://www.ChildrenHelpingChildren.net.
